Vince Jacobs, Linfield prof of history emeritus, died Monday
morning 1/8/2018 in McMinnville.
“Vince came to Linfield in 1967 and remained
engaged with the college even after his retirement. Although no memorial
service has been scheduled so far, it is likely to occur in the spring. Vince
loved Linfield College, and with his wife Norma we mourn his passing,” according
to email sent 1/11/2018 morning by Kathy Cook, assistant to Linfield President
Tom Hellie.
