was Linfield head football coach 1926 and 1927 seasons. In the 1926 season, Linfield beat Oregon Normal School (now
WOU), 55-0, in Monmouth. (WOU says score was 56-0.) In the 1927 season, Linfield defeated Normal, 83-0, in McMinnville.
Wolfe left Linfield and went to Normal and coached football there seven seasons, 1928-1934. In the 1928 season, Normal beat Linfield, 24-0, in Monmouth. Also in Monmouth, Normal beat Linfield, 27-2, in the 1931 season. The 1932 season saw Normal defeat Linfield, 12-0, in McMinnville.
Wolfe was also head men's basketball coach at Linfield in the 1926 and 1927 seasons. At Oregon Normal (now WOU), he coached men's basketball in the 1928 through 1934 seasons. Thus, he also coached for Linfield vs. Normal and for Normal vs. Linfield in that sport.
