WILDCATVILLE SEEKS 1984 LINFIELD FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP POSTER

Are you familiar with the two Whitnell auto dealership sponsored Linfield Football NAIA Championships posters?

=One poster celebrates Linfield’s 1984 NAIA Football National Championship “Come Back Victory.”

=The other poster celebrates the 1982, 1984 and 1986 Linfield Football teams which won NAIA National Championships. Coach Ad Rutschman is quoted on this poster: “It’s Tough to Get on Top, and Once You Get There it’s Tough to Stay.”

Linfield Archives -- part of the Linfield’s Nicholson Library -- does not have copies of these two posters. I think it should.

Assisting Linfield Archives, Wildcatville will soon have access to a  1982-1984-1986 poster. But, Wildcatville still needs the 1982 poster.

Do you have the 1984 poster? If so, could Wildcatville please borrow it so Linfield Archives may scan it and return the poster to you? Or, better yet, please consider donating your 1984 poster to Linfield Archives?
