From Hawaii to Linfield: Hugh Yoshida and Tony Ah Yat are Linfield Athletics Hall of Famers/football


Hugh Yoshida, Linfield Class of 1962, and Tony Ah Yat, Class of 1965, were outstanding football player for the Linfield Wildcat. In photo above, Hugh on left and Tony on right.

Both members of the Linfield Athletics Hall of Fame and both from Hawaii, they played for Coach Paul Durham.

In fall 2018, traveling from their homes in Hawaii to the Linfield College campus in McMinnville were Tony and Hugh, and their wives, Aileen Ah Yat and Patti Yoshida.
