the Linfield College Marching Band perform at halftime of Linfield home
football games?
These
wonderful photos (circa 1935-1936) are from Linfield Archives & Special
Collections. One
photo shows band's drum major posing at attention.
Other
photo shows the band practicing on the quad while being led by the drum major
(on the far right, out of the photo). This practicing photo was taken with the
Observatory, Grover and Failing Halls in the background. Note that the Observatory
is now in a different campus location.
