Morning of 9/5/2013 at Linfield's Maxwell Field., as you face the scoreboard, the advertising logo sign to the left was dismantled. Later that afternoon, an electrician was on site eyeballing the site prior to work to installing the video display board. Also, in the afternoon, the scoreboard was tested (see video).
Linfield Athletics Facebook page describes the display
board:
- It will "communicate informational and corporate messages, scores and stats, and who knows what else." It's nearly 8-feet tall by 31-feet long and weighs more than a ton.
