John Sadowski shows Wildcat spirit and so do these Leilehua AVID students and their teacher, Mark Kurisu

John Sadowski, a mentor teacher at Leilehua High School in Wahiawa, Hawaii, staples a Linfield pennant to the wall in one of the school’s AVID/Advancement Via Individual Determination college preparatory program classrooms. Photo was taken Feb. 15, 2012.

Linfield 1997 grad Mark Kurisu works with John Sadowski (Linfield 1970) at Leilehua High School. In a note to Wildcatville on April 4, 2012, Kurisu said, “I have 17 AVID Seniors and we are blessed to get all of them off to college.” He provided this photo with AVID students posing with Linfield pennant.

Both Kurisu and Sadowski played football for the Linfield Wildcats.
