Name of public art piece outside of Linfield’s Renshaw Hall unknown
Linfielder Kirby Neumann-Rea of the McMinnville News-Register is an expert, likely THE expert, about Linfield McMinnville campus “public art pieces such as the one in front of Renshaw (Hall), large beams that hold a plaque rendered unreadable long ago by time and weather.” Name of the piece — see photos by Wildcatville taken 8/19/2024 — is not known. If you named it, what would it be? For starters, Wildcatville says, 'Cardinal (a Linfield school color) Pickup Sticks.' Brian Petersen suggests, “The Wreckage of Willamette.”
