the New York Jets of the NFL/National Football League.) He was injured playing for the
Titans in a game on Oct 9, 1960, in Houston, Texas, against the AFL Houston
Oilers. Later he was taken to a Houston hospital where he died. (The Houston team is now the Tennessee Titans of the NFL/National Football League.)
