Howard Morris was an excellent Boss, fellow Coach, and most importantly, friend. Since meeting Howard in 1980, I was always amazed at the type of warmth and genuine concern he always displayed when talking with you.

Just to have had the opportunity to be with someone who displayed class, day in and day out, was truly a blessing.

Howard, you will be truly missed.

As a player, supporter or coach at OIT since 1973, I have gained a deep appreciation of what a great man Howard Morris was. He will be missed.

Fond memories of Howard. I remember that he took time out of his busy schedule to take me and my younger brother to the Far West Wrestling Tournament in San Francisco. Howard’s gentle coaching style proved effective in guiding and training his students. He will be missed.

Howard and Ginger, both Linfield College grads, are such important members of the Linfield College "Family." Howard's well deserved fame as a Linfield student-athlete and his personal and professional life is a role model for everyone. God bless Howard and the Morris family. Those of us associated with Linfield will never forget him.

Ginger and family. I am so sorry for your loss. Howard was never too rushed to stop and chat. I enjoyed our times together at baseball games with our sons.

Ginger and family,

So sad to hear of Howard's passing. We will always count Howard and Gingers friendship as one of our life's blessings.

We will always be grateful for Howard's confidence in Dick to hire him as the Head Football Coach at OIT in 1981. He was always available to help in any way possible, particularly with his wisdom and rock solid integrity.

God Bless,

Dick & Sherry Arbuckle
