Trading on Linfield's name?

Happenstance these McMinnville businesses -- Linfield Manor apartment building and Winfield Motors used car dealership -- are trading/traded on Linfield's name or a variation thereof? It appears Winstone was the last name of the owner of Winfield Motors, established in 1995. Winfield could have been a merger of the "Win" of Winstone and the "field" of Linfield. The dealership may have gone out of business in 2011.
