Do you have three minutes or so?

What’s better to be on the Linfield campus and contemplate, for about 1 minute each, three iconic structures (l-r photos above and videos below): Memorial Stadium, Pioneer Hall and Melrose Hall. On Friday the 13th of March 2009, Wildcatville Video Productions shot still photos and appx. 1 minute videos of the three. The video of Memorial Stadium is especially boring since nothing “happens” during it. No one runs around the Maxwell Field track or up and down the stadium stairs. If you turn up the volume, you might hear the real grass (Maxwell Field has plastic turf) being mowed by power equipment elsewhere on campus. The Pioneer and Melrose videos are better because some activity can be seen in front of the buildings.

Wildcats of Colton, Wash., High School: 2009 girls' state basketball champion

Wildcat player.

Wildcat fan.

This 5 minute and 42 second video, by Wildcatville.blogspot.com, is from Colton’s 76-39 win over Rosalia on Friday, Feb. 13, 2009, in the Colton High gym. The winning Wildcats had 13 3-point baskets in the game, part of the Washington Class 1B District 9 tournament. Two above still photos, also by Wildcatville, from the same game.

See this Yakima Herald-Republic daily newspaper video from Colton’s state championship game win on Feb. 28, 2009, in Yakima’s SunDome. The Wildcats beat St. John-Endicott 48-45 in the Washington Class 1B girls' state tournament.

Note: Don’t confuse Colton High School, home of the “Wildcats,” in Colton, Wash. (Whitman County) with Colton High School, home of the “Vikings” in Colton, Ore. (Clackamas County).
